A Funny Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve

So much to do and very little time to do it in….

NO worries I am sick and can only do what I can do and everything else can just wait

GOAL: Focus on truly what matters most

My hubby and son helped me so much today. I think I am ready for Christmas because of their willingness to help me so much!

We were all ready to go to the Christmas Eve party at my moms house when my lower back went out. It was almost comical because as I started to walk across the rooms my legs lost their strength as my nerves in my back were pinching them and I fell to the floor, only able to crawl across the room. My family thought I was playing and we all started laughing. However, once they realized I could not stand they all tried to find a way to help. But I just kept laughing so that I wouldn't cry! haha!

My daughters and I laughed as they tried to get me ready and dressed for the party, my hubby and son carried me downstairs to hang upside down on the traction machine. Which actually hurt but helped so I could walk again. Still in pain... but able to go to the party.

I had to laugh through it all just thinking what else could happen to me this week??? (It is funny just how much we laugh when times get rough) We laughed and enjoyed the night together no matter if I was in pain and had to stay on the heating pad at the party. We still had a ton of fun just being together as a family!

Later I found from my doc that the back thing was all related to the cold that was causing my sarcs to flare up just another part of my body affected by this disease!! Never a dull moment! haha

But nothing else really matters because tomorrow is CHRISTMAS!
