Well We're Off…...

Today was my moms birthday, we took her out for her birthday a few days ago because we knew we would be leaving on J'Dee's graduation trip today. But  I just wanted to wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY and tell her how much we all love her and appreciate all she has done for us and still continues to be there for each one of her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She is a strong woman and an amazing caregiver to her family! I don't know where any of us would be without her in our life! She never thinks of herself and is always the first one to offer to help with anything we need! I only hope that I can be as amazing as she is! She is the quiet giver that keeps on giving no matter what she is going through in her own life. I love her dearly and hope she has the best birthday ever today!

LOVE YA MOM! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Today we also took off for California. We flew hoping that would be easier on my lungs than driving through all the elevation changes.  I have to admit I was quite nervous wondering what I would do if my lungs really started having problems on the plane. So before we left I asked my hubby and son-in-law for a blessing. After the blessing I felt such peace and knew everything would be alright.

I seemed to get slight pain and pressure from the flight but nothing I could not handle. I just have to say that flying was definitely a lot easier on my body than driving was. We arrived to California in only 1 1/2 hours and that was fantastic. I was so grateful to be able to go on this trip with my family since being diagnosed 18 months ago. I am so looking forward to spending the week relaxing and enjoying time celebrating J'Dees graduation from high school, and mine, Kaylee, and her husband Andrew's college graduation from last year.

We hope to have fun and make many great new memories!
