Spending Time Together

Last night we took a drive out to Long Beach. It was so beautiful and relaxing. We played on the beach, walked down the boardwalk, and showed Landee the seagulls. It was fun just spending time together and having no where to be or nothing scheduled to do. I think vacations are the best when there is plenty of time for rest and relaxation. Just enjoying time together talking, laughing, and just having fun is where I find the greatest joy.

Today we drove to the Welks Resort in San Diego where we will be staying for the remainder of the trip. Out the back door of our condo is a fishing pond. It was so much fun watching them catch fish. This was Landee's first time fishing and she especially loved holding and touching the fish.
