J'Dee Graduates Seminary!

Today I knew that I needed to make sure and save all my spoons (aka energy) in order to be able to go to J'Dee's  seminary graduation. I was so thankful that he finally graduated. He has had a lot of days to make up because of missing class due to baseball or just having senioritis! haha! He did pull through the last week and went to early morning seminary for 8 days. I was so proud of him tonight and was so happy to see him complete all four years of seminary.

I know he may not know it now or even realize just how important this milestone is in his life really is. As he gets older he will really appreciate this milestone in his life.

I tried to go to church today but ended up coming home early and rested all afternoon so that I would have the energy I needed to go to his graduation.

At graduation I saw a friend of mine who has also been suffering with her own illness. I asked how she was doing and she told me probably as good as I was! She asked me if I had to rest up today just so that I could make it tonight! I told her Yes, I absolutely did! We laughed and knew exactly what it took for both of us to be there tonight!  It was so good to hear that others have to make choices of what they can and can't do each day just like I do! It is really nice to know that I am not alone.

I am grateful for the time I could spend with J'Dee tonight and celebrate his first of  two graduations that will happen this week!
