HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015…Do something new and different

On New Years each year we spin a globe and someone stops it with their finger, and where their finger lands is the country we choose activities and cook their native cuisine from for New Years dinner. Last year we landed on the Caribbean and this year we landed in the ocean first spin, but then on New Zealand.

We all planned the menu together, shopped for it, and take turns prearing and cooking it, and then the best part we all eat it together! We laugh and enjoy trying new recipes and new ideas.

It is a great way to start off the New Year doing something new and different. It also teaches us to not be afraid to try something different and it helps us realize and gain confidence that sometimes trying new things can be pretty amazing.

Going into a new year we think of things we want to improve upon or start something new that we have been waiting to do. Hopefull today will be one of many new things we try this year!

Here are some pics of what we did today.
