ALL WORTH IT….FUN TIMES!

Today was my Dad's Birthday! I am so grateful for such a hard working loving example in my life. He has suffered with many health challenges throughout his life, but still finds time and the energy to continually find work to do and people to serve.

Growing up in my family my dad always had non-stop energy and was always busy doing something. I can tell I got the busy-body gene from him. I love to stay busy and before getting this disease I was actually over-going and over-doing all the time! This disease has forced me to make choices on what I can spend my energy on, as I do not have that never ending supply that I used to.

Even though it has been hard to not continually run, run, run; I have found it very rewarding to learn what it is like to "stop and smell the roses." I think had I not endured this heal challenge I probably would still be trying to run faster than I have strength. My Dad will always be such an example of never giving up, hard work, and enduring to the end! I love you DAD!

This afternoon I had the opportunity to spend it shopping with my youngest daughter, Shaniah and her friend for dresses for the upcoming sweethearts dance. We went to 4 different shops and they not only had fun trying on dresses they liked but when they couldn't find dresses at certain shops they decided to pick out the ones that were down right hideous!

We laughed so hard as they put on these matching multi-colored dresses. I laughed hysterically as I tried to take pictures of them. These two girls really know how to have a good time. It was fun to laugh so hard today and it even continued after shopping when we went to eat! FUN day with these silly girls made my day so great! All the fun times and laughter today might end up with pain for the next few days… but I would say it was ALL WORTH IT!

FUNNY GIRLS HAVING FUN BEING SILLY!
