Kim and I were talking how about how grateful we were to be able to have the time to go and play with our kids. I told him that this is how we can communicate with our teenagers. I know teens can be pretty hard but if you sacrifice your time and resources for them and include their friends, it really can and does make a difference in your relationship.
Shaniah really had a great time today with her friends and didn't mind her mom and dad being a part of the fun! She especially loved that we could take videos and pictures of them all to remember the fun day! Teens these days love to share memories they make on social media sites and laugh about the things they do over and over again.
