So they asked Kim and I to go shopping for them and there dates. We went to the mall and found an old 80's store and some black leather clothes on the clearance rack and old rocker t-shirts. We then found a .99 jewelry store where we loaded up on big necklaces and earrings that looked 80's.
Kim and I laughed so hard as we re-lived our 80's teenage years. When we showed the girls and their dates they laughed so hard and all went to town dressing up. By the time we got them out the door they all looked like some pretty hard-core 80's rock band! They had so much fun at the dance and were so thankful for what we found for them that the girl asked to take a picture with me and gave me huge hug of thanks for the fun stuff!
I was also asked to take pics of the entire group before they left for dinner…boy you can sure tell who are the rockers from the neon group!! haha
After the dance we had the group back at our house for swimming, hot-tubbing, and hot-fudge sundaes. Such a fun way to end the group date!
Not only did the girls have fun but so did we!!! Bringing back the 80's and sharing with the kids was so much fun tonight!
