Yesterday Thanksgiving was the best with this wild and crazy group! I am so lucky to call them mine!!

 

 

 

Last night I was so thankful to my girls who took me shopping. I looked a little strange wearing my hat and glasses into the stores , but that was the only way I could combat dealing with the fluorescent lighting... But still got to  wonder if I was the reason security was out in every store! haha!

Even my daughters are a little freaked out by me!!

Last of my 12th days of Thanksgiving my final gift of gratitude is for my Savior

On this last of my 12th days of Thanksgiving my final gift of gratitude is for my Savior, Jesus Christ. My heart is so full and words can't even express my overwhelming love and appreciation for Him! I grateful for the trials I have had to endure that have brought me closer to my Savior and increased my appreciation of his atoning sacrifice. He has strengthened me, lifted me, and carried me through many rough days. I don't know how I could have made it without Him constantly by my side. ‪#‎12giftsofgratitude‬ ‪#‎12daysofThanksgiving

On the 10th day of Thanksgiving... My Health

On the 10th day of Thanksgiving my gift of gratitude is for my health! Three years ago I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease called sarcoidosis. I have to admit at first I was completely devastated, but it wasn't until I started discovering and demonstrating my gratitude to my Father in Heaven for everything I was blessed with that I found help! Once I started to focus on my blessings and not my burdens I was filled with so much hope and happiness which has led me to find help both physically and spiritually to be able to endure and recover from this disease! I am truly grateful for my Father in Heaven who hears and answers my prayers, my many health improvements, and my family who has been there for me through it all!

On the 9th day of Thanksgiving... My Parents

On the 9th day of Thanksgiving my gift of gratitude is for these two amazing people! My parents have been there for me and my family every step of the way! I would not be who I am without their love, example, and dedication! They have taught me how to work hard, love unconditionally, and serve unselfishly! They are the most kind, caring, and devoted parents, grandparents, and great grandparents I know! They would drop anything and everything to watch a grandchild play sports,... take a picture of a fish caught or deer shot, and still have time to grow huge pumpkins for Halloween and make the largest and most difficult Easter egg hunt around! 🎃🐣😉😉. I am so excited for them to receive their mission call any day now!! 😉 I am thankful for their health, and the opportunity they have to serve the Lord! You're the best!! Love you so much Mom and Dad❤❤😘

On the 8th day of Thanksgiving my gift of gratitude is for my beautiful daughter Shaniah. She is so full of life and lives life to the fullest! She loves to stay active whether it be boating, swimming, lacrosse, football, or basketball, etc. I swear she never stops going!! I am very thankful for her strong spirit and the amazing example she is to me! She has such a kind heart and quietly serves without ever being asked! I am so grateful for the goals she has set in life and it amazes me the determination she has to achieve them!! So thankful to call her mine!!💞

On the 7th day of Thanksgiving..My Son J'Dee

 my gift of gratitude is for my handsome son J'Dee. Although he seems like a big tough guy, he really is such a kind, caring, and compassionate son. He loves any kind of hunting and fishing, but waterfowl hunting with his duck dogs are his favorite! He loves boating and pushes it to the limit every time we go!!😜😜 Madison is another favorite of his and I am so grateful for her in his life as well! ❤😘😘 J'Dee has always been there for me and I am so thankful for him! On the 6th day of Thanksgiving my gift of gratitude is for my beautiful daughter, Kaylee and her amazing family!😘❤ Kaylee and Andrew are the best parents ever! They love their two kiddos and would do anything for them! I am so proud of their commitment and dedication to helping us and many others get and stay healthy! I don't know what I would do without them! Love you guys!!

On the 5th day of Thanksgiving my gift of gratitude is for my 1st born son.... C'Jay.. I can't believe it's been 25 years since this blond, blue-eyed, baby boy came into our lives! He loves adventures, being in the outdoors, and especially hunting and fishing! His role in our family is to make everyone laugh at all times, in any situation, and any place! 😂😂He is definitely the jokester of the Fam!! Thanks for always keeping us laughing even when times get tough!! So grateful for you and all you do!! Love ya!!😉😘❤

On the 4th day of Thanksgiving my gift of gratitude is for these two little stinkers!! My grand-babies mean the world to me! 😘😘💞 They bring so much happiness and love into our family!! Ireland is a spunky, sassy, little doll who loves to do the kissy duck lips!!😘😘 Louie is a sweet, tender hearted little man, with huge blue eyes and a sweet smile!! I am so thankful to be a grandma!! Whether it was to make me laugh when I wanted to cry, smile when I wanted to scream, or hold me when I couldn't take it any longer! He has always been there for me through it all!! FAMILY PICTURE DAY... FUNNY TIMES!

Today we decided to take our annual family pics. We really look forward to this day, because it is not your average family picture setting as you would think. We all get together in somewhat matching attire and try to take a decent family picture.

We spent about 2 hours traveling around our city to find the perfect spot for this years picture. The kids really wanted to take it in the canal or at the cemetery this year. I was laughing hysterically at the though of either of those, but the canal had too much water still in it and the cemetery was a bit to morbid to attempt. So we found an old path, a railroad track, and even big old dead tree to stand in front of. Most of the pics we took were of us laughing or being silly. We did pull off a couple decent ones. But the best ones seemed to be when we were just having fun!

Niah's LAX Championship Weekend

Kim and I enjoyed a weekend in Las Vegas watching our daughter Shaniah play on a hand-picked select Utah lacrosse team. Girls all over Utah from many different high schools were selected to play this weekend. It was so fun watching our girl play her heart out with other very talented players. She had such a great time making new friends and playing at such a high level of play.

She loved every minute of it especially when they went undefeated in pool play and then on to win the championship game to top it all off.
