Tonight my daughter had all of her lacrosse team over for a end of season pool party! They had a great time eating pizza, and roasting hot dogs, making s'mores and swimming. They played for about 6 hours straight just being silly and having fun together!
Its like they did not want to leave because this was the final get-to-together for them, especially the senior girls, who will be graduating this year. This group of girls have been very close and have made some amazing friendships along the way.
I was able to finally finish and give them each a copy of the DVD I had made for them from pictures and videos we took of the games throughout the season. Since I was unable to do a team dinner, or do much to help with the team activities this year, I offered to do something I could do. My hubby and I took pictures and videos throughout the season and put them together in a movie format. It ended up being about 50 minutes long. The girls laughed, cried, and loved every minute of watching the dvd during the end of season banquet this past week.
I felt very blessed to have felt good enough to be able to reward them with such a tribute to their success! Such great memories they will have for a lifetime!
