HAPPY 27TH ANNIVERSARY HONEY!

Today my sweetheart and I celebrated our 27th wedding Anniversary! I can't believe its been 27 years already! Time really does fly! With 4 kids and 2 grandkids (One is almost here) we feel very blessed to have shared so many life experiences together!

Although we have had many difficulties and challenges over the years we have faced them head-on together, and with the help of the Lord we have been seriously blessed as we have endured them the best we can.

These past two years have been so challenging as we have faced the health difficulties together! Not only has it been difficult it has also brought us closer together then ever before. I have learned that I can't get through it without him!

Niah's 1st Junior Prom….

It was a family affair getting these girls sent off  for their junior prom. They were so excited and couldn't wait to be a part of this fun and exciting time in their lives!

Thank goodness for Kaylee who helped Niah and Sammy get ready for prom as I ran around the house getting everything they needed or forgot! By the time they left I was exhausted! But it was all worth it when she got home and was so excited to tell me all about her night! She told me it was the best dance ever!!!

They had the best time today. They went on a picnic earlier today and a hike. Then went to dinner and to the dance and then back to play basketball after the dance!

PLAYTIME

My favorite part of each day is playing with Ireland! She is so full of light, love, and not to mention never-ending energy! She wears me right out but keeps me going at the same time! I love this little girl and can't wait to meet her new baby brother or sister in just a few short weeks!!

Never Alone!

This past week was full of storms and because of that I had plenty of flares! On Tuesday I started to prepare my young women's lesson and felt strongly to have the girls teach and share the majority of the lesson. It was a very good thing I did because, by the time Sunday came around, I was in a great deal of pain and was not sure I would even make it to church!

However, my faith was strengthened as I trusted in the Lord as I was going to teach no matter what. I knew I had to do three things today. 1. Teach my lesson, 2. Have dinner as a family, and 3. Visit my grandma in the care center as family.  My kids could see how much pain I was in and took me home to rest after the first meeting.  The did not want me going back to teach young women's but I told them I would be okay. I then trusted in the Lord and allowed him to strengthen me and give me the energy to overcome the pain I was experiencing in order for me to go and teach.

As I was about to teach my class I felt such an overwhelming gratitude for the atonement and the blessing it has been in my life.  I felt strengthened and felt my pain lift as I began my lesson. I was overcome with the spirit as I shared my testimony with the young women. The lesson was on the atonement and the girls also shared their experiences.

How grateful I am that we were all spiritually uplifted today by the abundance of the spirt and for the Savior and his atonement. I am grateful to be able to witness this firsthand and then be able to teach and share my testimony with others.

I know the Savior had to suffer all alone so that we would not have to suffer ourselves as we struggle with our challenges in this life!   I know that Savior did this for each one of us and for that I am eternally grateful!

Peanut Butter Face

So fun to watch this cutie try and eat peanut butter. Uncle C'Jay gave her apples and peanut butter for a snack to eat. But instead she decided to smear the peanut butter all over her and the dog and then throw the apples on the floor!

She made a huge mess and it took a very long time to clean up, but boy was it funny watching her laugh so hard! So today was just a peanut butter face kind of day!!!
